BOOSTER MEETING MINUTES – DECEMBER 10TH, 2024
(Called to Order at 6:10pm – Adjourned at 7:28pm)
COACHES’ REPORTS:
VARSITY (COACH ENDRES):
• Varsity finished 16th out of 30 at Chartiers Houston (Dustin Kerr – 2nd Place / Logan
Glock – 5th Place)
• Dog Duals on Saturday (Moving mats Thursday / Friday setup after practice)
o 2 Teams still owe money for entrance fees
MIDDLE SCHOOL (COACH BURSICK):
Need volunteers for this weekends’ events
First competition is tomorrow – 35 boys signed up
Stats program is loaded onto iPads – ready to go
YOUTH (COACH RUGGERI):
First event is NA Meet
Some kids aren’t showing up for practice – quit coming
22 kids attended Mars tournament
Looking forward to event on Sunday
GIRLS’ CLUB (COACH BARRY):
1st event next Wednesday (Valley @ Home)
12/21 switched to Pine Richland Ram Slam
TREASURER’S REPORT:
$24,922.44 Checking Account Balance ($6,410 in scholarship / $100 Venmo / $1,500 outstanding booster fees)
Money / change has been ordered for weekend tournaments
Interested in pursuing options for a savings accounts / investments if legally allowed
FUNDRAISING:
McDonalds donating 250 breakfast sandwiches for this weekend
Stromboli dates changing to Jan. 21 Pickup (Tuesday) – forms sending before Christmas and will be copied at school for hard copy handouts – due by 1/3/25 and 1/4/25 - $4 Each (70 Wrestler / 100 Family)
OTHER DISCUSSION ITEMS:
Free admission to tournaments with toy donation this weekend
PISA wants to host an event at HHS – we supply mats and the school – Feb. 22/23 Available o Board voted No for this time, but very interested in staying on the list for future events
DAWG DUALS:
Short 6 people for volunteers
Pizza Pickup from Caliente all day – we need a driver
