HAMPTON WRESTLING ASSOCIATION
BOOSTER MEETING MINUTES – NOVEMBER 5, 2025
(Called to Order at 6:05 pm – Adjourned at 6:56 pm)
COACHES’ REPORTS:
VARSITY (COACH ENDRES):
A few boys placed at the at Jan 3 rd Tournament
Senior Night is scheduled for February 4 th .
Don O’neil from Snap will come at meet with team on the 19 th
The Varsity team will attend the first half of practice on Monday the 13th. Following
practice, the Varsity team will attend the Unified Bocce match to show support for the
team.
MIDDLE SCHOOL (COACH BURSICK):
Elwood City Tournament - will likely to not participate in it next year due to lack of
organization at the event.
Team placed 5th out of 16 at the Slippery Rock tournament.
County Tournament scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday at Shaler.
o 18 wrestlers participating.
Peters dual meet scheduled for next weekend; food support requested.
YOUTH (YOUTH DIRECTOR WES METCALF):
Three dual meets planned:
Total entry fees estimated at $1,000.
Board contribution requested: approximately $250–$400.
Participation limited to 10 athletes per dual.
Peter's Twp dual meet has been paid.
Novice Match scheduled for the 16th.
GIRLS’ CLUB (COACH RUGGERI):
Current season record: 0–4.
Ramp Slam was successful and showed measurable progress.
Concern noted regarding Knock meet which is scheduled for Senior Night.
Senior Night Needs:
Ice cream social planned.
Punch to be provided by Chris.
Cookies and ice cream to be determined.
Fundraising:
Meeting with Dan O’Neil as well.
Event planned for the week following the Varsity program.
Butler Invitational scheduled for the 24th.
Transportation to be provided by the school.

Dawg Dual Check: $375.00
Ashley holding cash for youth match.
Outstanding balance for checks: $7,316.65
Net available funds: $27,749.14
Anticipated Expenses:
Maintain $10,000 in reserve for next season.

Final order to be submitted Monday evening.

Parent communication to be sent to recruit volunteers for event coordination.

Meeting with Snap representative scheduled for:
Boys fundraiser: Monday the 19th.
Girls fundraiser: 26th.
