BOOSTER MEETING MINUTES – NOVEMBER 5, 2025

COACHES’ REPORTS:

VARSITY (COACH ENDRES):

• Facilities & Season Prep:

  • Mats ready at both middle and high school.

  • Weight certifications and team meetings in progress.

  • One dual (Highlands) canceled — seeking replacement.

• Scholarship Program:

  • Drafted Sandy Hart & Friends of Hampton Wrestling Scholarship application; under

review.

• Scheduling:

  • Parent meetings: Nov. 17–18 (JO), Nov. 25 (Varsity/MS).

  • First match: Dec. 3, home vs. Upper St. Clair.

  • Alumni Night: planned for mid-January.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (COACH BURSICK):

• Scheduling:

  • Parent meetings: Nov. 17–18 (JO), Nov. 25 (Varsity/MS).

  • First match: Dec. 3, home vs. Upper St. Clair

• Staffing:

  • Added Nate Glock as paid manager.

  • Assistant coaches: Joe Brasile, John Hollibaugh, Zeh Campbell (pending).

GIRLS’ CLUB (COACH RUGGERI):

• Team Operations:

  • Managing girls’ registration and warm-up orders (final order placed for 12 girls).

  • Uploaded all schedules and practice dates to Band app.

  • Parent meeting & hydration testing: Nov. 20, 7:00 PM (Middle School).

  • Uniform order submitted by end of week.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

• Financial Update:

  • Current balance: $7,003.54 (Venmo + Citizens Bank deposits combined).

  • Scholarship account: $6,500 balance.

  • All equipment orders paid; all checks cleared.

• IRS & Compliance:

  • Last IRS return was filed in 2019; must file 2019–present.

  • Potential fines: $20/day up to $10,000 or 5% of gross receipts.

  • Estimated filing cost: $600 + accounting fees.

  • Working with Tom Schneider (Lewis Flung & Associates) and CPA support to submit by year-end within IRS forbearance window.

  • Exploring discounted or pro bono CPA assistance.

  • State filings are current and in good standing.

  • Organization is out of IRS compliance and auto-revoked as of May 13, 2023 (501(c)(4) status).

  • Two EINs exist; plan to keep main EIN and allow secondary (Hampton Junior Wrestling) to lapse.

• Registration Update:

  • Outstanding registration invoices: $7,825.

    • Team breakdown

      • Varsity/JH: 7 seniors, 3 juniors, 7 sophomores, 8 freshmen

      • Eighth grade: 8; Seventh grade: 7

      • Girls: 10.

      • JO program: 61 registered (up from 60)

        
        

    • No warmups will be issued without payment.

FUNDRAISING:

• Stromboli sale increased from $4 → $5. Target

  • Forms to be emailed for printing; due January.

• Exploring Snap! Raise and restaurant fundraisers.

• Golf Outing Fundraiser:

  • Options: $110, $95, or $90 per golfer.

  • Includes green fees, range, and food.

  • Preferred: $90 picnic-style (burgers, grilled chicken, hot dogs).

  • Target date: May (Saturday preferred); avoid Mother’s Day weekend.

  • Will confirm date and course availability.

OTHER DISCUSSION ITEMS:
